Turmeric is a tropical plant and thrives in warm temperatures, that has been revered for thousands of years people in these foreign cultures. Turmeric Essential Oil is a concentrated version of the chemical constituents found in Turmeric Root. Its properties include: anti-allergic, antibacterial, antidiabetic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-parasitic, antiviral and cardio-protective properties. It is reported to treat asthma, arthritis and joint problems, hair loss (due to its anti-oxidant properties.) Turmeric also benefits the liver and digestion. It has been suggested that Turmeric has anti-cancer properties. I am not a doctor and it would be wise if you do your own research on this.
